ABOUT ME

Growing up around farming and playing sports, I didn’t have an injury or specific experience that led me to this career path initially. I knew I wanted to improve people’s quality of life and joined my twin sister to follow a career path in Physical Therapy at Iowa State University. I earned my Doctorate at Des Moines University.

I gained an interest in school and thought to myself, “If I had these issues, I would want to know there is somewhere I could go for help.” This thought gained more experience after having my two girls with very different experiences/recoveries. I have furthered my education by specializing in Women’s Health to treat pelvic floor dysfunctions.

I have advanced my skills in manual techniques and am trained to perform internal pelvic floor assessments, pelvic, lower extremity, and urinary system myofascial mobilization, as well as functional dry needling. I also utilize a program to include education, communication, and exercises.

I’d love to help you feel empowered in your body, so please reach out to see what it’s like to work with me.
